The Local Arrangements Committee (LAC) serves as an information resource for headquarters staff on local aspects of meeting planning, which may include local and regional tourist information, entertainment, transportation, etc. Each year, the LAC plays a role to help highlight the local area and history related to Asian Studies through the organization of dynamic sessions; location-specific events such as walking city tours, library and/or museum tours; securing discounts at local establishments; and much more.
