AAS 2021 Annual Conference is Going Virtual
The global pandemic has shifted many aspects of AAS operations. Like most people and organizations, we have had to pivot and quickly find new ways of interacting with the world around us as well as new ways of engaging with our constituents.
Due to the continued uncertainties created by the pandemic, we have made the decision to move the AAS 2021 Annual Conference to an entirely online format. The official dates for the annual conference have shifted to March 21-26, 2021 in an effort to lessen schedule conflicts as well as to maximize participation. With this extended schedule, we hope to mitigate the fatigue of engaging in online sessions for entire days, as well as to optimize engagement despite time zone differences.
As we move the AAS 2021 Annual Conference completely online, we look forward to offering you the same vibrant programming, impactful networking opportunities, and as significant, global means for presenting on and learning of emerging research in diverse disciplines contributing to our field of study.
The virtual conference will include our regular panel and plenary sessions, the awards ceremony and keynote address, as well as spaces in which to connect with exhibitors and educators from across the globe. In addition to participation in the live event, all attendees will have access to on-demand recordings for an additional 30 days upon completion of the conference.
